I like to obtain my inspiration from many different sources, and one of my favorites is a commercial from Michael Jordan’s “Become Legendary” campaign. The message is very inspirational even if you have no interest in sports.
One line from the commercial really resonates with me, “I have something more important than courage, I have patience”.
Do you have big dreams and goals you want to accomplish? If you are reading this, then the answer is most likely yes. You may have been highly motivated when you started to work toward what you wanted, but now your motivation has waned or even disappeared completely. An often quoted story in motivational literature involves a Spanish explorer by the name of Cortes that conquered the Aztecs. As the story goes, once all of his men and supplies were on land he set fire to the ships they had arrived on. Setting goals is very important when you want to become more successful in any area of your life. Yet merely setting a vague goal in your mind without any followup is the surest way to fall short of accomplishing what you want.
